Whether you’re managing muscular pain, recovering from an injury, living with a long-term condition, or preparing for an event, your treatment will be tailored to you.
I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Each appointment begins with a conversation about how you feel, what has been bothering you, and what you would like to achieve. Your session may combine pain relief massage, mobility coaching, and personal training advice, along with hands-on treatment where appropriate.
What I Can Help With
Pain and Injury
If something feels painful, tight, or is not improving as expected, I’ll take time to understand your symptoms and adapt your treatment accordingly.
• Back and neck pain
• Shoulder pain and restricted movement
• Hip, knee, foot, or ankle discomfort
• Muscular discomfort associated with sciatica
• Sports and overuse injuries, including tennis or golfer’s elbow
Massage may not be appropriate for every injury or source of pain. If your symptoms require medical assessment, I will advise you to speak to an appropriate healthcare professional.
Tension, Stress, and Headaches
Stress, busy routines, and prolonged working positions can all contribute to physical tension. Treatment may help with:
• Neck, shoulder, and back tension
• Muscular tension associated with some headaches
• Difficulty relaxing or switching off
• General muscular tightness
• Relaxation and well-being
Mobility and Movement
If you feel stiff, restricted, or less confident in your movement, mobility coaching and treatment can help you move more comfortably.
• General stiffness and tightness
• Reduced flexibility or range of movement
• Postural discomfort associated with work or everyday habits
• Returning to movement following injury or inactivity
• Support alongside strength and personal training goals
Before and After an Event
Treatment can be adapted to where you are in your training or recovery.
• Pre-event massage and movement preparation
• Post-event recovery and muscular soreness
• Managing tension during a training program
• Supporting comfortable movement between events
Support for Long-Term Conditions
Massage and appropriate movement, such as mobility coaching, can provide supportive care for some people living with long-term conditions. Sessions focus on comfort, relaxation, mobility, and individual goals rather than treating the condition itself. This may include support for people living with:
• Parkinson’s and other neurological conditions
• Fibromyalgia and persistent pain
• Arthritis and joint stiffness
• Reduced mobility or confidence following illness
• Stress-related muscular tension
Treatment does not replace medical care. Please inform me about any diagnoses, symptoms, or medication before your appointment so that I can adapt the session safely.
How Treatment Works
Every session is personalised and usually includes:
• A consultation to understand your symptoms, goals, and medical history
• A movement assessment where appropriate
• Hands-on treatment adapted to your comfort and needs
• Practical advice about movement, mobility coaching, or recovery where helpful
The aim is to ease discomfort, support better movement, and provide you with practical ways to care for yourself between appointments.
Not Sure Whether This Is Right for You?
That’s completely understandable. If you’re unsure which service to choose or whether an appointment is appropriate, please contact me and I’ll be happy to discuss your needs.
Ready to Take the Next Step?
